Schenectady Man Faces Felony DWI Charge In Greenburgh: NYSP

Police said the man was also driving with a suspended license.

GREENBURGH, NY — An upstate man was accused of driving while intoxicated and without a license. New York State Police said a car was stopped on I-87 in the town of Greenburgh around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday for a vehicle and traffic violation.

The driver of the car, Renaldo Lutchman, 34, of Schenectady, was found to be intoxicated, police said, and he also had a suspended license.

He was taken into custody and processed at the Tarrytown barracks where his blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.30 percent.

Additionally, Lutchman had been convicted of driving while intoxicated within the last 10 years. As a result, he was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, both felonies, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Lutchman was released to a sober third party and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court July 28.
