Services for Tahj Robinson Set for Saturday
Robinson, 17, was killed Oct. 9 during an altercation in Barnhart Park in Sleepy Hollow. A suspect has been arrested.

The following obituary is from the Robinson family:
Tahj Skylar Robinson was born on September 21, 1998 in Miami FL, to Melinda Hines and Terrance Robinson. His formative education was received up and down the east coast between Florida, New York, and New Jersey. At age 2 his mother moved back to New York where Tahj was in enrolled in NYC Public School System until 2007 when a fateful trip to Westchester County made them fall in love with the River town of Sleepy Hollow/ Tarrytown NY.
For seven years he enjoyed playing football and making lasting friendship, his sense of humor and charm made him very popular, especially amongst the ladies. His love for music, fashion, and “la vie boheme” made him unique and a sensitive soul. He was passionate about honing his craft as a lyricists, and at the tender age of 10 had begun to create music of his own and looked forward to making a name for himself within the hip hop industry, with the help of his creative clique of friends from Jersey City NJ and the Bronx NY.

Tahj had recently enrolled at the Elite Transfer High School Satellite Academy in Manhattan and began his senior year of High School. He was scheduled to graduate in the spring 2016.
Tahj Skylar Robinson was survived by his loving mother Melinda, his mentor and biological father Terrance Robinson, confidant and Step Father; Edward Desantis., his right hand man and baby brother; Daniel Desantis, his loving aunt and biggest fans; Angie Degelo, and cousins Marcy, & Angel Quezada, his maternal grandmother; Reyes Lachapel, his uncle; Michael Berney, his “twin” step sister Nondi Desantis and older step brother Edward Desantis Jr. and his extended family in Texas, Flordia, and New York.

Tahj early departure had left avoid that will be hard to fill in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Viewing will be held on Saturday October 24, 2015 from 1-3pm following the Service @United Church of Jesus Christ, 3936 Bronxwood Avenue, Bronx, NY 10466.
