Some Greenburgh Summer Camps May Be On School Properties
Registration for the summer camps, which are expected to take place this year, is now open.
GREENBURGH, NY — The town of Greenburgh is anticipating having summer camps open this year likely with reduced capacity.
Supervisor Paul Feiner said, in response to inquiries from residents, that it looks as if camps will be operating this summer but they will have to comply with board of health conditions, including 50 percent of normal participation.
He said in an email that the Ardsley and Greenburgh school districts are receptive to allowing the town to use their buildings for Camp Rainbow and Camp Victory on Ardsley district property and Camp Kidco and Camp Star on Greenburgh school property.

"However, the town has no control over these approvals, and without school district sign-off, we can't guarantee the camps will open," Feiner said. "Because of the unpredictability of COVID there are no guarantees."
He said that Camp Good Times at AFV/Secor Woods parks will be open this summer, since those parks and facilities are controlled by the town.
