TARRYTOWN, NY – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to clean that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day holiday. We gathered up the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow so you can start planning now.

Westchester

June 29
Lewisboro: 20th Annual Firework Spectacular, 6 p.m. parking and picnicking, 7 p.m. entertainment starts, 9:30 p.m. fireworks, June 29 at Onatru Farm Park, 99 Elmwood Rd., South Salem. Rain date TBD.

July 2
Scarsdale: 2019 Firework Spectacular, approximately 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at the Scarsdale Pool Complex. Westchester Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. A $5 fee will be charged to all non-pool members entering the pool beginning at 5 p.m. At 8 p.m. all individuals entering the pool complex will be charged $5.

White Plains: On Tuesday, July 2, 6-10 p.m. A fun filled evening of entertainment, giant inflatable rides, food and fireworks! The City of White Plains Independence Day Celebration at the White Plains High School Athletic Fields located at 550 North St. in White Plains. All are welcome at this family-friendly event

July 3
Valhalla: Kensico Dam Music Fest and Fireworks. Enjoy a picnic at the park with pre-concert entertainment beginning at 6 pm. A band performance starts at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks around 9:15 p.m. Admission and parking are free; carpooling is suggested.

Ossining: Fireworks at Louis Engel Waterfront Park. The music starts at 7 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled to start around 9:15 p.m. (Rain date July 8.)

Cross County Shopping Center: The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with strolling entertainers and more. The concert takes place on The Green lawn, in the center of the mall from 6:30-9 p.m. The fireworks will be displayed in the north parking lot, the side of the mall that faces the Cross County Parkway, behind Shake Shack. If there is severe weather, the event will be re-scheduled for July 5th.

July 4-5
Rye Playland Special Event Fireworks Celebration at 9:30 p.m., 1 Playland Parkway, Rye

July 4
Katonah: Pops, Patriots and Fireworks at Caramoor. 8 p.m. Thursday, July 4. Fireworks only rain date 9 p.m. Sunday, July 7. For more information, including ticket prices, go here.

Peekskill: Concert and Fireworks, Riverfront Green Park. Billy and the Showman starts at 7 p.m. and fireworks will start at about 9:15 p.m.

Tarrytown: Annual fireworks display will begin around 9 p.m. Pierson Park is a popular viewing area where live music will begin at 7 p.m.

Putnam

June 30
Southeast: The annual fireworks extravaganza. Music by DJ Scottso starts at 7 p.m. and the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Independent Way.

New York City

July 4
When: 9 p.m.
