Tarrytown/Elmsford Nonprofits Receive Donations from Realtor Foundation
Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation has donated a total of $55,000 to 17 area groups.

Three nonprofit groups in Tarrytown and Elmsford have received donations from the Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors. The foundation made donations totaling $55,000 to 17 charities and nonprofit organizations in the Hudson Valley.
The local groups are Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and Volunteer America in Tarrytown and the Food Bank for Westchester in Elmsford.
“As Realtors, we are so pleased to be able to give back to the local communities where we make our living,” said Linda Crispinelli, president of the Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation Board of Trustees. The foundation participates in qualified community-based charities who serve the housing, hunger, health, happiness, and humane needs of citizens.

The other charities or nonprofit organizations that received donations include the Association for the Visually Impaired in Spring Valley, Furniture Sharehouse in White Plains, Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, Community Capital of New York in Hawthorne, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard in Carmel, Friends of Karen in North Salem, Green Chimneys in Brewster, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, Inc., Hi-Tor Animal Shelter in Pomona, People-to-People in Nanuet, the SPCA of Westchester in Briarcliff Manor, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in White Plains, Support Connection, Inc. of Yorktown Heights, and the White Plains Business Improvement District.
