Tarrytown Halloween Parade, Block Party Set

TARRYTOWN, NY — Will you be going to the Halloween Parade and Block Party? The 18th annual event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Tarrytown.

This year's grand marshal is Village Administrator Rich Slingerland.

There will be floats and costumes in the parade. Prizes will be awarded. Last year's categories included best in show, best float, best group and best adult, child and pet.

You have to register to be eligible to win prizes.

There will be no parking on both sides of Broadway from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., from Patriots Park to Main Street and on both sides of Main Street from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Main Street will remain closed after the parade for the Block Party.

The rain date is Sunday.
