Tarrytown Lifts Emergency Declaration; Recycling Canceled

The village is also resuming alternate side of the street parking.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Now that the heavy snow has stopped, it's time to get back to business in the village of Tarrytown.

Village Administrator Richard Slingerland alerted residents via a reverse 911 call Tuesday that recycling is canceled Wednesday due to ongoing snow removal efforts.

He also said that cars must be moved on the streets within 24 hours and cars in Lot A and Lot D must be removed by 6 p.m. Thursday evening at the latest.

Alternate side of the street parking resumes Wednesday to allow snow clearing efforts to continue.

The village's state of emergency ends at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
