Tarrytown Schools, District Office Lockout Lifted
Police said they were searching for someone in relation to an incident by the waterfront.

UPDATE, 3 p.m.: The Tarrytown police have informed the district that they have concluded their search and that it is safe for for the district to end its lockout and return to normal activities.
TARRYTOWN, NY — The Tarrytown school district has placed all schools and the district office on lockout as a precautionary measure. According to a notice from the district, police notified the schools that they were searching for someone involved in a non-violent incident by the waterfront.
All activities within the schools will go on as scheduled but no outdoor activities will happen.
