Tarrytown Approves $83.8M 2021-22 School Budget
Two other propositions were approved by voters.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Voters in the Tarrytown school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the school district's 2012-22 budget.
The $83.8 million budget was approved/rejected. The unofficial vote tally was 503 for and 127 against.
The budget increase was 2.8 percent. The property tax levy was 1.93 percent.

There were two other propositions on the ballot:
- One concerns the purchase of school buses and vehicles in the amount of $435,000. It passed.
- The other would allow the district to provide transportation for children in grades three to five who live more than 0.3 miles from their school in the amount of $150,750. It passed.
Three trustee seats are up for election. The race was not contested. The winning candidates were Krista Barron, Cecelia Gordon and incumbent Michelle DeFilippis.
