Tarrytowns Schools Foundation Holding Horseman 'Color Me Mud' Run

This year's color run features a 5K, a 1-mile kids' race and a half-mile kids' race.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY - The fourth-annual Horseman "Color Me Mud" Run will take place on Saturday, June 17 at Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow.

The color run serves as a fundraiser for the Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, which offers supplemental funding for the school district.

"You will be sprayed with colors along the race route. RUN, challenge yourself, get dirty, get sprayed with FUN, and help us fundraise to improve learning experiences for all students in the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns!"

The color run is made up of a 5K race, a 1-mile kids race and a half-mile kids race.

Registration is $25 for kids and $45 for adults if done online; the latter rate goes to $50 for same-day registration.

Online registration will open on Tuesday, June 11. In-person registration will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on the morning of the run.

The half-mile race will start first, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with the 1-mile race starting at 9:45 a.m. The 5K will start at 10 a.m.
