Zombie David Neilsen to Take Over Warner Library

In honor of the release of the apocalyptic zombie thriller World War Z starring Brad Pitt, David Neilsen will give you a hilarious yet terrifying look into the world of the undead on Friday, June 28.

“Thrilling and humorous, creepy and delicious in a race against time before the infected bite on my neck turns me into a member of the undead and ending the evening clamoring to eat your brains,” said Neilsen, a classically trained actor who performs readings up throughout the Hudson River. 

Neilsen will bring the brain eating walking corpses to life during his story telling tale “Are You Gonna Eat That Brain?” for children aged 10 years and older. 

“David takes a theatrical approach to his telling and convincingly conveys humor, pathos and chills, according to the tale,” said Warner Library’s Children’s Librarian Patricia Cohn.

The performance takes place at 7 p.m. in the Warner Library Reader Room, at 121 North Broadway in Tarrytown. Remember to dress up like a zombie!
