UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two more museums on the Upper East Side are reopening to the public this week, months after closing their doors during the coronavirus pandemic.
New York's museums were first allowed to reopen in August, and neighborhood institutions like the Met and the Museum of the City of New York quickly welcomed back visitors.
Two more that took their time are finally opening their doors this week: the Guggenheim Museum and the Jewish Museum, separated by three blocks along Fifth Avenue.
