BREAKING: Upper East Side Yellow Cab Flips Onto Side; Streets Closed
Best to avoid the streets surrounding Lexington and 71st on your Monday evening commute — unless you wanna rubberneck a little.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A yellow cab flipped onto its side in a car accident at Lexington Avenue and East 71st Street around 5 p.m. Monday, local police and fire officials said.
"We have one patient with minor injuries," an FDNY spokesman said.
However, the patient was not wounded severely enough to be transported to a hospital, the spokesman said.

Around 5:10 p.m., the NYPD warned other drivers to avoid Lexington Avenue between 70th and 72nd, and 3rd Avenue between 71st and Lexington.
"Streets are closed till further notice," the 19th Precinct tweeted.
