Chick-Fil-A is coming to the Upper East Side. The popular, fast-growing chicken chain is set to open July 11th according to a construction manager on site. The restaurant will replace Hu Kitchen, which closed last fall, at 1536 Third Avenue between 86th and 87th Streets. Construction is expected to be complete next week. Training and "community events" will precede the July 11th opening. A sign adjacent the location indicates that interviews are taking place on the 5th floor of the building, so if you are looking for work, looks like they are hiring.
