Demolition Plans Filed For Buildings On UES Development Site
A 30-story condominium is planned for the site on Third Avenue between East 74th and 75th streets

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Real estate developers filed plans with the city to demolish two adjacent low-rise buildings on and Upper East Side site targeted for a 30-story condominium development.
Development firm Continental Ventures requested demolition permits for 1297 and 1299 Third Ave. — located between East 74th and 75th streets — late last month, according to city records. The five-story buildings occupy a site where Premier Equities and Thor Equities plan to build a 30-story condominium development, the Real Deal reported in 2017.
The development firms bought the properties in January of 2017 for $26 million, according to public real estate records. The transaction was the last in a series of deals that gave Premier Equities control of 1291, 1293, 1295, 1297 and 1299 Third Ave., the Real Deal reported.
