Developers File Plans For New UES Apartment Building
The six-story apartment development will rise on a currently vacant lot on East 93rd Street.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Developers have filed plans with the city Department of Buildings to construct a new apartment development on a vacant lot on the Upper East Side.
Nexus Development's new building will rise 60-feet-tall on East 93rd Street between First and Second avenues and contain just six apartments, according to building plans. The development will be solely zoned for residential use.
With 10,030 total square feet of residential space, the average apartment will be about 1,671 square feet large. Planned residential amenities include tenant storage rooms, a rooftop recreation space and bike storage.

The development site is currently vacant, which means construction may begin as soon as the plans are approved by the Department of Buildings.
The firm Issac & Stern Architects has been tapped to design the new development, according to building plans.
