Dozens Of Madison Ave Eateries Remain Open, Business Group Says
More than 30 Madison Avenue restaurants and food businesses remain open and ready for takeout and delivery.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — New York City eateries are reeling due to social distancing measures put in place by city and state that limit restaurants to takeout and delivery, but dozens remain open on the Upper East Side's stretch of Madison Avenue.
The Madison Avenue Business Improvement District released a list of 35 restaurants that remain open on the business corridor. Businesses offering takeout range from high-end options such as Caravaggio and Sant Ambroeus to more casual dining and retail-focused options such as Marky's Caviar and Eli's Essentials, according to the business group.
