Fire Breaks Out At Greek Restaurant On Upper East Side: FDNY
A fire broke out at a four-story building in the Upper East Side, the FDNY said.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A fire broke out at the building where an Upper East Side Greek restaurant is located, a Fire Department spokesman said.
The Fire Department was called about 8 a.m. for a fire at 200 East 60th St. between Second and Third Aves., the spokesman said.
The spokesman said the fire blazed on the exterior of the four-story building. Anassa Taverna, a Greek restaurant in the neighborhood, is located on the ground floor.

By about 8:45 a.m., the fire was under control, the spokesman said. No injuries were reported.
Twelve units and 60 firefighters responded to the fire, the spokesman said.
