UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Political commentator Keith Olbermann took to social media Thursday to celebrate the sale of his Upper East Side Trump Palace apartment.
Olbermann got out with "90 percent of my money and 100 percent of my soul," he posted on Twitter.

On March 8, Olbermann wrote an op-ed piece in The Washington Post titled "I can’t stand to live in a Trump building anymore." In the piece Olbermann said that after nine years of living in the Trump building, he can no longer stand being associated with the name.

"I’m getting out because of the degree to which the very name 'Trump' has degraded the public discourse and the nation itself. I can’t hear, or see, or say that name any longer without spitting. Frankly, I’m running out of Trump spit," Olbermann wrote in the op-ed.
Nothing says political courage quite like moving out of a multimillion dollar apartment complex.
