UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Want to live like Don Draper? One of the advertising industry's original "Mad Men" has listed his Upper East Side townhouse for nearly $10 million.
Jerry Della Femina's four-story home is located on one of the neighborhood's most sought-after blocks, East 62nd Street between Park and Lexington avenues. Femina is the author of "From Those Wonderful Folks Who Gave You Pearl Harbor: Front Line Dispatches from the Advertising War," which detailed the booze-fueled advertising industry of the 60s and served as a key influence for the hit show "Mad Men," according to a Guardian profile from 2010.
Femina bought the townhouse in 1995 for an unknown sum, according to city real estate records. It was listed days ago for $9.95 million, according to realtor.com.
