Plans Filed For 6-Story Community Facility On Upper East Side

Building plans do not specify what kind of facility will occupy the new development.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Developers have filed plans to construct a six-story community facility on the Upper East Side.

Macklowe, the developers behind 432 Park Avenue, filed plans for a new 74-foot-tall building at 323 East 62st Street, located between Second and First avenues neat the off ramp of the Queensboro Bridge, according to city records.

The new building will span 49,746 square feet entirely zoned for use as a community facility, according to development plans. The facility will occupy all six of the new development's floors with little space designated for accessory or amenity use, according to building plans.
