Plans Filed For 8-Story Development On Upper East Side

The East 82nd Street development will contain 21 apartments and space for a small medical facility.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Developers have filed plans to construct an eight-story building on an Upper East Side.

Lavin Development will construct the 75-foot-tall, mixed-use development on East 82nd Street between First and Second Avenues, according to plans filed with the city Department of Buildings. The new building will contain 21 apartments and a medical facility, according to plans.

With 35,255 square feet zoned for residential use, the average apartment unit will be about 1,678 square feet large. Some of the apartments will be single-floor units and others will be duplexes, according to building plans. The medical facility will be 620 square feet large.

Planned residential amenities include a lobby, indoor recreation space, parking for 11 bicycles and a private garage for 7 cars, according to building plans. All of the amenities and the medical facility will be located on the building's ground floor.
