Suspect In Daytime UES Sexual Assault Is Sought, Police Say

Police asked for help identifying a man accused of assaulting a woman on an Upper East Side street corner in broad daylight last week.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police asked for help identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on an Upper East Side street corner Saturday morning.

The alleged assault happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the corner of East 60th Street and Park Avenue.

A 22-year-old woman told police that an unknown person pulled her into the street and tried to rip off her shirt and bra, making contact with her breasts, according to police.

The NYPD's 19th Precinct released photos of the man being sought, stating he was accused of assaulting two women. (A police spokesperson mentioned only one victim.)
