Swedish Princess Sells Upper East Side Apartment
The Princess Madeleine of Sweden is ditching the Upper East Side by selling her apartment in The Touraine.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The Upper East Side is about to get a little less loyal. The Princess Madeleine of Sweden has sold her Upper East Side apartment and will move permanently to London.
The Swedish princess' one-bedroom pad in The Touraine building on the corner of East 65th Street and Lexington Avenue went for $1.99 million, the New York Post reported. The sale was conducted by brokers Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of Douglas Elliman, according to the report.
The sale represented a profit for the princess, as she bought the apartment in 2013 for $1.87 million, the Post reported.

Now that Princess Medeleine has ditched the Upper East side she plans to live in London with her husband Christopher O’Neil and their two children, the Post reported.
