Two Upper East Side Buildings Sell For More Than $19 Million: Records
The two contiguous buildings are located on East 82nd Street between Lexington and Third avenues.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A pair of walkup buildings on the Upper East Side are changing hands for close to $20 million, according to real estate records filed with the city.
The sale of the buildings — 162 and 164 E. 82 St. between Lexington and Third Avenues — took place June 15 for $19.4 million, according to records filed on Jun 21. The real estate records listed both the old and new owners of the buildings as LLCs. The old LLC was called East 82nd Gardens Associates LLC — which has ties to Norfolk, Virginia based firm Harbor Group Internation — and the new LLC is called 162-164 82nd St. LLC, according to the documents.
The new owners behind the LLC were identified by Commercial Observer as Ruby and Victor Azrak — a father-and-son duo who have earned their fortune through successful merchandise licensing deals.
