Upper East Side Brunch Spot Named One Of NYC's Best

A new Eater list of the best brunch restaurants in New York City includes one Upper East Side mainstay.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The vaccine rollout may be giving more Upper East Siders the courage to spend their weekend mornings going out for brunch, and one neighborhood restaurant has just snagged a spot on a list of New York's best brunches.

The new list by Eater NY names the 2nd Ave Deli — which, contrary to its name, is located on First Avenue and East 75th Street — as one of the 29 best brunch purveyors in the city.

The "classic Jewish deli" specializes in "comforting" food like challah french toast, matzah brei, whitefish salad sandwiches and an expansive egg section, Eater raves.
