Police Arrest Man in Connection With UES Attack With Bag of Poop

A man attacked a woman randomly on the street in the Upper East Side in a disgusting forcible touching incident.

UPDATE July 1, 4:30 p.m.: Police say they have now charged 42-year-old Ekwan Hill with assault and forcible touching in the original incident caught on video.

Hill is listed as living at the Myrtle Avenue Family Center, a homeless center and addiction rehab facility in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

UPDATE July 1, 5 a.m.: The NYPD announced early Friday morning they had taken into custody a 42-year-old man in connection with the attack of a 27-year-old woman on the Upper East Side.

The suspect grabbed the woman from behind and shoved a bag of feces down her shorts before ripping off a pair of gloves and running away. It's unclear whether it was animal or human waste.

Charges are pending.

UPDATE 4 p.m.: Police say a separate incident, possibly involving the same man, occurred Monday at approximately 2:15 p.m. outside 67 East 91st St. in which a black male threw feces at a 33-year-old woman. The feces struck her in the face and chest, and he fled on Park Avenue.

A man attacked a woman randomly on the street in the Upper East Side in a disgusting personal attack Monday evening.

Police say a man approached a woman, 27, from behind at 8 p.m. and stuffed a bag of feces down the woman's pants before grabbing her butt and running off. It is unclear whether it was human or animal feces. In the video, he can be seen ripping off a pair of gloves and tossing them in a pile of trash bags as he runs away.

The attacker is described as a black male, 40 years old and 6-foot and 215 pounds. He has a dark complexion and his hair in an afro.

Police did not release a location of the attack, but the New York Daily News reported it occurred outside an apartment building on 74th St. near First Avenue.
