UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — There's good news for Upper East Side families looking to get outside and enjoy the roughly 10 inches of snow that was dumped on New York City overnight.
The Parks Department has a list of the best places to go sledding across the five boroughs — and the Manhattan list includes two parks on the Upper East Side.
The two locations are Carl Schurz Park and the east side of Central Park, both of which feature sloping lawns perfect for sledding down.

This week's storm put more snow on New York's streets than all of last winter, according to the National Weather Service.
A winter storm warning remains in effect Thursday until 1 p.m. The National Weather Service warned of continued heavy snow bringing another 1 to 2 inches, although New York City likely will receive less.
