UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side condo building voted to join its neighbors in removing President Donald Trump's name from its facade, according to reports.

Fifty-five percent of condo owners at 120 Riverside Boulevard voted in favor of a proposal to remove the branding in a vote that was participated in by 69 percent of the building, according to an email acquired by the Washington Post's David Fahrenthold. More building residents participated in the vote than in any other in the building's history, according to the condo board email.

Condo board members at 120 Riverside Boulevard are making arrangements to have the Trump name scrapped from its building, Fahrenthold reported. The Trump Organization, the real estate company owned and operated by the president, does not have any financial ties with the condo, which means the separation should not be contested, the Washington Post reported.

The Riverside Boulevard condo building is the fifth "Trump Place" building on the street to remove the president's name from its facade. The buildings at 140, 160 and 180 kicked off the movement shortly after the 2016 election and 200 Riverside Boulevard removed the name last year after a prolonged legal battle with the Trump Organization.

The three buildings that ditched Trump in 2016 did so due to "embarrassment," but the decision could be considered good business these days. Real estate website CityRealty operates a tracker of Trump's buildings which shows that the average price per square foot has dropped since his ascent to the presidency. Since 2015, the price per square foot at Trump-branded units has dropped nearly 5 percent.
