Antonio Banderas Puts Upper West Side Apartment Up For Sale

The "The Mask of Zorro" actor's Central Park West pad has hit the market for just less than $8 million.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Spanish superstar Antonio Banderas is the latest celebrity to list an Upper West Side property for sale, according to reports.

Banderas is ditching his digs at 50 Central Park West, located between West 64th and West 65th streets, and the "The Mask of Zorro" actor wants just under $8 million for the apartment, the Wall Street Journal first reported.

The actor bought the apartment for just under $4 million in 2005 with then-wife Melanie Griffith, according to public real estate records. The fourth-floor co-op features four bedroom and four bathrooms and 50 feet of Central Park frontage, according to real estate listings.

The home is located in the Prasada co-op, which was designed by architects Charles W. Romeyn & Henry R. Wynne, according to listings. The co-op's amenities include a full-time doorman, elevator operator and live-in resident manager as well as access to private storage, bike storage and an exercise room.
