Barbara Streisand's Former UWS Home Hits Market For $11.25M
The famous singer and actress lived in the Central Park West penthouse for nearly four decades.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Central Park West penthouse that Barbara Streisand called home for nearly four decades has hit the market asking $11.25 million, according to reports and real estate listings.
The Grammy-nominated singer and Academy Award-winning actress lived in the apartment in the Ardsley on West 92nd Street and Central Park between 1963 and 2002, the New York Times first reported. After the pair's divorce in 1971, Streisand remained at the home and raised her son Jason there.
Streisand sold the penthouse in 2002 for $4.25 million, according to the report.

The home features 3670 square feet of interior space and 2500 square feet of terraces that offer views of Central Park, according to real estate listings. Listings boast that the home is able to entertain as many as 100 people at a time.
The Ardsley co-op dates back to the 1930s, but the apartment is equipped with modern-day luxuries including central air conditioning, brand-new windows and a 450 bottle wine closet. Amenities at the co-op include fitness center, children's playroom, two bike rooms, a lending library and tenant storage rooms.
