Condos In Former UWS School Building Hit Market In Fall
Thirteen condos built in a former Catholic school on West End Avenue will hit the market in Fall. Check out a first look here.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Developers are revealing a first look at 13 condominium apartments built in a former Catholic school building on the Upper West Side.
The new apartments are set to hit the market this fall, a spokesperson for developer Tamarkin Co. said. The units are located in the converted 555 West End Ave., located near West 87th Street, in a building that originally served as a Catholic school.
The building's previous use as a school presented architects with the opportunity to create an apartment complex featuring unique floor plans, developers said in a press release. None of the residence's 13 apartments are identical in layout, but they all feature elements such as entry foyers, walk-in pantries, and eat-in-kitchens.

Apartments in the building will range from three-to-five bedrooms and pricing will start at $7.9 million, according to a press release. Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a fitness center, a recreation room, stroller valet, private individual storage rooms and cold storage and bike storage.
Developers also restored the West End Avenue building's original architectural details such as the turrets adorning the roof. The apartment complex is Tamarkin Co.'s first Upper West Side development and is being built in partnership with the CL Investment Group, according to a press release.
