Demi Moore Sells San Remo 'Floating Mansion' For $45 Million
The sale for Demi Moore's triplex penthouse in the iconic Central Park West coop was finalized this week.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Years after listing her three-floor penthouse in the iconic San Remo coop on Central Park West, actress Demi Moore has sold the luxurious property, according to real estate records filed with the city.
The sale of the triplex in the building's south tower was finalized Wednesday for $45 million, according city records. The real estate records listed the new owner as an entity called M2 Trust, with an Andrew Regan listed as the trustee.
Moore first listed the penthouse for $75 million in 2015, the New York Times reported at the time. A listing with the Modlin Group puts the penthouse's asking price at $59 million. The final sale price of $45 million represents a sharp drop-off from the initial asking price of $75 million and the reduced asking price of $59 million. Moore and then-husband Bruce Willis bought the San Remo penthouse in 1990, the Times reported.
"We looked at everything on the park, Fifth Avenue, Central Park South and Central Park West, and there was just nothing like it," Moore told the Times in 2015. "The location, architecture and history of the San Remo were on a completely different level."

A listing with the Modlin Group described the triplex penthouse as a "floating mansion" and " the embodiment of the last unicorn of Manhattan," — whatever that means. The unit contains 17 total rooms, of which 6 are bedrooms and five are bathrooms, according to the listing.
Real estate records for the sale listed a Los Angeles address as Moore's residence.
