NY Jets Legend Joe Namath Lists UWS Apartment For Sale

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side home that New York Jets legend Joe Namath purchased with his daughter in 2016 is back on the market, according to real estate records and listings.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment at 345 W 70th St, a co-op building located between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive, hit the market recently at an asking price of $1.19 million, according to listings site Realtor.com. The price is a slight increase from the $1.01 million the unit was bought for in 2016, according to public real estate records.

The home was not the primary resident of the Super Bowl III-winning quarterback. Namath bought the home for his daughter Jessica and her husband Brian Kennedy, whose names are also listed on the real estate documents.

Some features of the Upper West Side duplex include: A private garden, a fully-renovated kitchen with custom cabinets and state-of-the-art appliances, an outdoor deck and extra rooms on the lower floor that could be made into a home gym or office.
