UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side apartment building that commanded a high sale price just four years ago will switch hands again, according to reports.

Real estate investor Isaac Kassirer struck a deal with Thor Equities and Rockwood Capital to purchase 838 West End Ave., located between West 100th and 101st streets, for $65 million, The Real Deal first reported. The building was bought by Thor for $64.6 million in 2014, according to public real estate records.

The West End Avenue apartment building contains 70 apartment units, most of which are rent-stabilized, The Real Deal reported. About 25 percent of the building's apartments are vacant, according to the report.
