The 36th Annual Long Island Buick Car Show

On Sunday, May 24th, the Long Island Buick Chapter hosted its 36th Annual Car Show. Food vendors included: Madison’s Smoothies, Apple Puff’s, as well as an Italian Sausage truck. MADD was present at the event.

There were well over 200 spectators who attended yesterday’s show. Not only did Long Islanders attend the annual Long Island Buick event, but different Buick Chapters from New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut also were in attendance.

Our objective for this event was, “To promote and let the attendees enjoy the Buick automobiles”, stated by Mr. Marc Alssid, the Activities Director of The Long Island Chapter of the BCA. In addition, “There were 92 registered cars, which was the largest turnout in over a decade. We are the only All Buick Show on Long Island, ranging from models of the 1920’s to the most current models. Sun Pontiac made five new Buicks (2015 models) available in their fleet”. Stated by Mr. Lawrence Alssid, the Assistant Activities Director of the Long Island Chapter of the BCA.

Take a relaxing ride in your Buick to enjoy the sunny weather, friends, and of course, ice cream!

The Long Island Buick Club is dedicated to providing technical information and

resources for maintaining, restoring, enjoying and improving the appearance and performance of Buicks. They also provide opportunities throughout the year for members to have fun and take their Buicks out for a spin visiting local sites, attractions and car shows.
