Meet Pach's adorable Adoptable Pet of the Week, courtesy of the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. This week's furry friend is Nico.
Nico is a 2-year-old male American bulldog mix. He was surrendered to the shelter when his previous owners moved and couldn't take him with them.
Nico's former owners said he is house trained, crate trained and knows a bunch of commands. He is active, playful, hyper and affectionate, but seems scared at the shelter.

He's looking for a single-dog house with adults only.

"As the largest municipal animal shelter on Long Island, there are plenty of opportunities to give a loving cat or dog a forever home," said Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen. "Saving one pet may not change the world, but it will surely change that pet's world forever."
