WANTAGH, NY — Mother Nature took a 2-0 lead against the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach, forcing the cancellation of performances on both weekend days, the state's Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation said on its website.

But, all hope is not lost.

Spectators will get one more shot to see the Air Force Thunderbirds, and other military planes, rumble across the sky.
