Bleachers, Security Lights, Pitching Mound Damaged in Park

Nassau County Police report on criminal mischief, petit larceny, and grand larceny.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

Criminal Mischief

  • July 23: Nassau County Sewer Treatment, Bay Park; main door of bay of lockers pried open.
  • July 25: Bobolink Lane, Levittown; CO2 BBgun canister thrown at rear window of home.
  • July 27: Wood Lane, Levittown; air conditioning unit damaged, side vents cut and freon tank punctured.
  • July 28: Seaford Avenue, Massapequa; white PVC fence damaged.
  • July 28: Redwing Lane Park, Levittown; electrical outlet box, wooden bleachers, security flood lights, portable pitching mound damaged.

  • July 27: Green Acres Road, Valley Stream; money taken from purse.
  • July 27: Jericho Turnpike, Mineola; unattended pocketbook and contents stolen from under table.
  • July 28: Fox Boulevard, Massapequa; wallet stolen.

Petit Larceny

  • July 22: Lakewood Avenue and Park Avenue, Roosevelt; circular saw stolen from sidewalk outside job site.
  • July 23: Uniondale Avenue, Uniondale; bicycle stolen.
  • July 23: Deer Lane, Jericho; delivery box stolen from front of house.
  • July 24: Pond View Road, Great Neck; two ladders stolen from outside a house.
  • July 26: Riverdale Road, Valley Stream; two bikes stolen from side of house.
  • July 27: Jerusalem Avenue laundromat, N. Bellmore; woman seen rummaging through unattended wallet and taking $40.
  • July 28: Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown; white sneakers taken from boxes, shoved into stroller, and stolen.
  • July 28: Syosset LIRR; rear tire stolen from bike.
  • July 29: Baldwin Bowl; iPhone 6 stolen from table.
