Crimes Nearby Part I: RadioShack Burglary, Stolen Car

Recent criminal activity reported in Levittown and Massapequa.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

  • A GPS was stolen from a car on Bloomingdale Road on May 9.
  • Jewelry was discovere stolen from a property on Crescent Lane on May 9.
  • The glass of the front door at RadioShack on Hempstead Turnpike was was found broken on May 12.
  • A leaf blower was stolen from a car on Barrister Road on May 13.
  • A car was stolen on Hilltop Road on May 14.
  • A Levittown woman was arrested on May 16 and charged with having an inappropriate relationship with one of the disabled students she taught at the Henry Vicardi School in Albertson. For further details, click here.  
Massapequa
  • A man discovered money missing from his vehicle parked at the Massapequa Long Island Rail Road Station parking lot on May 5.
  • An iPod was discovered removed from a vehicle parked on Ford Drive South on May 7.
  • A burglar threw a piece of concrete through the front door of the Radio Shack on Carmans Road on May 11. For more details, click here.
  • A GPS and clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Olive Garden Restaurant on 5598 Sunrise Highway on May 13.
