Fire Spreads From Garage To Home, None Injured In Seaford: PD

A fire spread from an attached garage to the home and a car in the driveway just before 6 p.m., police said.

SEAFORD, NY — Area firefighters responded to a fire that spread from an attached garage to a home and a car in the driveway on Fulton Avenue in Seaford on Thursday, Nassau County police said.

Police said officers were notified the fire broke out just before 6 p.m. and the residents who were home were able to get out in time. No one was injured.

All together firefighters from four different departments, including Seaford, Wantagh, Massapequa, and North Massapequa, responded to the fire, according to a social media post.

The fire is not believed to be suspicious in nature, police said.
