Hall & Oates New Summer Tour To Hit Jones Beach

WANTAGH, NY — Daryl Hall and John Oates are going on a 2020 tour, and they're coming to Jones Beach this summer.

The Grammy-nominated pop duo, known best for '80s jams such as "Out Of Touch," "Maneater," and "Private Eyes," announced the new tour Tuesday. They'll perform at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 25 joined by KT Tunstall and Squeeze. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Hall and Oates have been nominated for five Grammy awards, with the most recent coming in 2009 for best pop performance by a duo or group with vocals for "Sara Smile."

But the group nabbed four nominations in the 1980s, including best pop performance by a duo or group with vocal for "Private Eyes" in 1981 and then again in 1982 for "Maneater."

The duo charted several hits in the 1970s as well, including "Rich Girl," "Sara Smile," and "She's Gone."
