Jones Beach Gets New Splash Pad Attraction

Swimming, surfing, sunbathing -- and now splashing. Jones Beach has just opened a new Splash Pad, giving families another fun thing to do at their day on the beach.

The Splash Pad features large pipes that spray water down on guests, as well as water bursting forth from the floor, according to Newsday.

The free Splash Pad is designed to give kids another activity at the beach (but we're pretty sure it works for adults, too).

It's located on the Central Mall, near the newly reopened Boardwalk Cafe.
