Long Island Roller Rebels Holding Car Wash Fundraiser in Seaford

Female roller derby team will be washing cars outside Mad Topper Yogurt on Hicksville Road from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Long Island Roller Rebels are holding their annual car wash fundraiser in Seaford this Sunday.

The Rebels, which formed a decade ago as Long Island's only all-female flat track roller derby league, will be washing cars on skates in the parking lot outside Mad Topper Yogurt on 1200 Hicksville Road from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Coupons for $1 off frozen yogurt at Mad Topper will also be handed out.

The car wash will be held a stone’s throw away from the Rebels’ practice facility at United Skates in Seaford. The team’s home bouts are held at Skate Safe in Old Bethpage.
