Memorial Day Parade To Kick Off On Wantagh Avenue

WANTAGH, NY — The Wantagh American Legion is putting the final touches on the 2021 Memorial Day Parade, which is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. on May 31.

The festivities will start as parade participants plan to assemble in school parking lots on Beltagh Avenue, the Wantagh American Legion Post 1273 said on Facebook.

Marchers will go down Wantagh Avenue before turning onto Park Avenue and concluding at the local American Legion headquarters for a memorial ceremony.
