Seaford Athletes Pledge Themselves To Colleges

The students will play for schools both locally and around the country.

Eleven student-athletes from Seaford High School will continue their athletic pursuits at the next level as they made their college commitments during a national letter of intent signing ceremony on April 26. They were joined by administrators, coaches, guidance counselors and family members for the milestone moment.

Several Seaford athletes will remain teammates in college. Twins Jenna Siler and Julia Siler will play basketball for SUNY Cortland; Luke Kasulke and Ryan Pearse will play soccer for LIU Post; and Tyler Volpi and Brian Winter will join the lacrosse team at Nassau Community College.

Additional athletes who will play at the collegiate level include Anthony Cuchel (track and field, SUNY Delhi), Scott Glazer (lacrosse, University of Tampa), Garrett Mancuso (lacrosse, Hartwick College), Jackie Nieman (softball, Farmingdale State College) and Maddie O’Hagan (basketball, Utica College).
