Seaford Catholic School Holds Sandy Relief Fundraiser
Maria Regina School students raise more than $1,200 and collect food for local victims of superstorm.

Maria Regina School in Seaford recently held a "Dress Down Day" to raise money and collect food for local Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.Â
In addition to the many boxes of food collected, students donated more than $1,200 in money and gift cards to assist those in need from the Oct. 29 superstorm that severely impacted southern areas of Wantagh and Seaford. The Dress Down Day was organized by the school's student council including Bridget Harrington (treasurer), Lena Genovese (president), Christina DeMartino (vice president and Teresa Blangiforti (secretary).
