Seaford Elementary School Students Praise Police
The "Thank a Law Enforcement Officer" project was part of National Police Week.
SEAFORD, NY —Ahead of National Police Week, Seaford Harbor School took part in the first "Thank a Law Enforcement Officer" project.
Students created messages of well wishes for police officers, as part of the Town of Hempstead program.
The cards will be distributed to local law enforcement during National Police Week, which runs until May 15, Town of Hempstead Councilman Christopher Carini posted to his LinkedIn page.

Carini was joined recently by second and third graders at Seaford Harbor School to show their art.
"Thank you to all who serve in law enforcement, we are forever in your debt!" Carini said on his LinkedIn post.
