Seaford Harbor Community Hosting Tagless Tag Sale To Help Sandy Victims

Variety of items for victims of Oct. 29 storm to be made available from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in front of Seaford Harbor School.

The Seaford Harbor community is holding a tagless tag sale Saturday to help local victims of Superstorm Sandy.

Saturday’s event being held next to the Seaford Harbor School is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature winter coats, clothes, blankets, diapers, baby formula, etc. Organizers said that items that do not have a price on them can be taken for free. Items that there has been a need for that will be available free of charge for drive by or walk up pickup include:

  • bleach
  • paper towels
  • work gloves
  • masks
  • plastic bins
  • household cleaners
  • towels
  • sponges

Volunteers from the Seaford Harbor community will also be in front of the elementary school on 3500 Bayview Ave. Sunday morning at 11 a.m. handing out fliers to residents with need-to-know information and resources on how best to address storm-related issues.
