Seaford High School Volleyball Wins LI Class B Championship
The team overcame early adversity after starting the 2019 season 1-4.

SEAFORD, NY — The Seaford High School girls volleyball team is the Long Island Class B champion. The Vikings on Saturday beat defending champion Bayport-Blue Point. You can watch the girls win the final point and celebrate here, courtesy of Newsday.
The team overcame adversity early in the 2019 season, starting 1-4. They've gone 9-4 since, however, and earned a trip to the state semi-final in Glens Falls, to be held Saturday, Nov. 23.
"This is seriously incredible," Emily DeVito told Newsday after the team won. "The work that we put in for this team, it just makes me want to cry … The relationship and bond we've formed on this team, it's the best thing that I’ve ever been a part of."
